Following the Cuban revolution in 1960, the brand was nationalized, and production continued under Habanos S.A. In the United States, the brand was sold to Villazon & Co. and is now owned by General Cigar Company, producing Punch cigars in Honduras. Punch cigars are known for their bold, full-bodied flavor profiles, appealing to seasoned cigar enthusiasts. The Cuban versions are typically medium-bodied, while the Honduran-made Punch cigars are renowned for their rich, earthy notes and leathery spices.
